TATA Indian Premier League Auction 2022 is going to happen on 12 & 13th February 2022 from 9 AM onwards at the Bengaluru venue. A total of 590 players out of 1,214 players (896 Indian and 318 overseas players) who have signed up to be part of the IPL 2022 Player Auction are shortlisted by the BCCI and franchise who will go under the hammer on the mega auction day.
Here we have updated the IPL 2022 auction player list with the retained player and the price at which they are brought. All the teams have announced the retained players list and also they have cleared the covid protocol test for the IPL 2022 auction which will be held after two days.
So far, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders have retained 4 players in their squads. Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals have retained 3 players each. Punjab Kings has only retained 2 players. Lucknow Super Giants and Ahmedabad Titans have also picked 3 players each ahead of the auction.
INR 2 crore is the highest reserve price and as many as 48 players have chosen to place themselves in this bracket.
There are 20 players on the auction list with a reserve price of INR 1.5 crore while 34 players are on the list of cricketers with a reserve price of INR 1 crore.

– Old franchises will name retained players by November 30, 2021, a maximum of 4 players can be retained.
– New Franchises: 2 New teams to finalize their 3 players outside of auction between December 1, 2021, to December 30, 2021. No more than 2 Indians and 1 foreigner.
