The 18th edition of Asian Games is going to start from 18 August 2018 in multi cities of Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia and it will end on 2 September 2018. India’s most popular games Kabaddi was introduced for the first time in 1990 Asian Games held in Beijing China. Till now India is the ultimate gold winner of Kabaddi in Asian games from the introduction of the games in all category.
In the 18th edition of Asian Games, Kabaddi event will be from 19 August to 24 August 2018. Schedule for the Kabaddi Events in Asain Games 2018 has been declared. This time too all the participating nation are divided into two groups (Group A & Group B) in both Men and Women category.
The Indian Kabaddi Team has never lost a match in the men’s category of Asian Games and also The Indian Kabaddi Team is the most successful team of Kabaddi. Indian Kabaddi Team has 9 Gold medals with seven times (men’s) and twice (women’s).
Kabaddi at the Asian Games 2018 will mark the first time where 11 teams in the men’s category and 9 teams in the women’s category.
